The state-of-the-art arena is home to the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, and the NHL’s New York Islanders and is a model for sustainable design and construction, having earned LEED® Silver Certification for New Construction from the U.S. Green Building Congress.

Offering intimate seating configurations and unparalleled sightlines and for 17,732 basketball fans, 15,795 hockey fans, and up to 19,000 fans for musical and cultural performances, Barclays Center has received several major awards including the 2013 Sports Business Awards Sports Facility of the Year, 2013 Pollstar Arena of the Year, Architizer A+ Building of the Year Award, and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce Brooklyn Building Award for Economic Development.
