Job Summary
The Community Relations Associate supports the LA Galaxy Foundation by assisting with all game day activities, including setting up and operating the Foundation and Cozmo's Cadets booths, engaging fans at Soccerfests, selling Foundation related items, and helping coordinate on-field recognitions. The role plays an important part in creating a positive fan experience while advancing the Foundation's community focused mission.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with setting up and operating the Foundation and Cozmo’s Cadets booths before, during, and after matches. This includes preparing materials, maintaining an organized space, and ensuring a welcoming fanfacing environment.
  • Interact with guests, share information about Foundation initiatives, and help create a positive and engaging fan experience.
  • Answer fan inquiries, assist with mobile silent auction operations, and sell Foundation related items throughout match day.
  • Coordinate timing, staging, and participant movement for community recognitions and other Foundation related moments.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • 0-2 years
    • Related work experience
    • Experience in the sports ticket field a plus, but not required
  • Proactive and able to work well under pressure
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to create positive and strong working relationships
  • Assertive, persistent and results-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and support community initiatives
  • Able to stand for long periods during match day
  • Able to work weeknights, weekends, and most if not all home games
  • Able to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs 

Payscale: $20.48

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
