The Role

AXS is seeking a Sr Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles or Tempe. This role will execute automation, SQL and data transformations to support email, push, in-app and SMS marketing communication initiatives. This role will collaborate and work with various teams to design & implement multi-channel campaigns within the marketing ecosystem. This role will stitch together complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and MarTech Platforms. This role will document & follow best practices in developing and executing campaigns. This role will assist with troubleshooting issues within the platform by collaborating with cross-functional team members.

What Will You Do?

  • Build multi-channel (email, push, in-app, SMS) campaigns and journeys and automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Ensure that data required for campaigns are available within our platforms
  • Lead campaign intake, gather requirements, and tackle challenges collaboratively with stakeholders for seamless solutions
  • Work closely with all members of the marketing team and cross-functional partners to bring lifecycle campaigns to life by being hands-on with all facets of campaign production including, but not limited to dynamic coding, segmentation, A/B testing, QA
  • Run campaign experiments designed to impact key metrics
  • Troubleshoot & perform root cause analysis for issues with campaigns or audience/segmentation used in campaigns
  • Assist in user training and actively promote team's user adoption of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Develop technical expertise in all of our campaign and marketing related tools through daily usage and ongoing training
  • Stay up to date with the rapidly changing Salesforce ecosystem
  • Perform quality assurance on every campaign to ensure that campaigns are executed error free and that the user experience is optimal

What Will You Bring?

  • 5-10 related years of with Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience. With emphasis on: Marketing Cloud for B2B & B2C, Journeys & SQL Automations, Data Extensions / Querying & Filtering, Notification Preference Center (Opt-in/out), Building Cloud Pages, AmpScript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, Email, SMS & In-App Messaging, Managing Business Units, CDP Integration & Personalization and Reporting
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Optimizely, SEMRush, and other enterprise marketing tools
  • Experience working with CDP for audience segmentation
  • Proven experience launching complex high-touch, high-visibility omni-channel campaigns on a frequent basis in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Deep understanding in digital marketing best practices, HTML, ampscript, and creative design for impactful digital communication strategies
  • Expertise in building, dynamic coding, segmentation, testing, analysis, and optimization
  • Expertise in using journey builder and related components for outbound communication deployment
  • Experience building campaigns to conduct reliable A/B tests
  • Effective time and resource management skills with the ability to plan ahead, meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities with flexibility
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with an eye for quality and attention to detail
  • Keen customer insight and strong understanding of target audiences
  • History of success in executing high-impact plans that move business metrics
  • Self-starter who thrives in an energizing environment with tremendous opportunity ahead
  • Ability to stay organized in a highly demanding environment

Bonus points if you have:

  • Strong technical acumen and comprehension of architecture
  • Experience with database platforms like Redshift or Snowflake 
  • Experience working in a complex global technology company 

 

Pay Scale: $118,800- $220,000
