Eventim Hammersmith Apollo
The Eventim Hammersmith Apollo is one of London’s most renowned entertainment venues and best-preserved original theaters. Located in Hammersmith, West London, it opened in 1932 as the Gaumont Palace cinema, designed in the Art Deco style by renowned theater architect Robert Cromie. Starting in the 1960’s it played host to many legendary music acts of the day, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Bob Marley. AEG and Eventim partnered to purchase the venue in 2012 and conducted a £5.8 million refurbishment effort to restore its iconic original art Deco Design. The venue reopened in September 2013 and hosts 160 events annually.
