AEG Presents Joins #iVoted Early Sweepstakes to Drive Non-Partisan Voter Turnout
To increase voter turnout for the 2022 midterm elections, AEG Presents has joined the #iVoted Festival’s inaugural #iVoted Early Sweepstakes initiative and donated concert tickets to shows taking place on election night, Nov. 8, 2022 including such artists as Tegan and Sara, Rina Sawayama, Santigold, Soccer Mommy and more. A full list of AEG Presents shows can be found here.
Fans can enter the sweepstakes by submitting a selfie from outside their nearest polling place or at home with an unmarked ballot before Nov. 7, 2022. All sweepstakes entrants will be given access to stream the #iVoted Festival’s virtual election night webcast on November 8th, a livestream that will feature performances from over 500 top artists.
AEG Presents’ Executive VP, COO and General Counsel Shawn Trell, “Our business is built upon creating a sense of community. Using the strength of our platform to drive voter turnout and engagement is a natural fit for us.”
Underage fans can enter the #iVoted Early Sweepstakes by letting the voter turnout group know what election when they will be 18 years-old and why they’re excited to vote. Ineligible voters can enter by letting event organizers know which artist they’re most excited to see. No purchase is necessary for the #iVoted Early Sweepstakes. Check out the #iVoted Early Sweepstakes official rules here.
#iVoted is a non-partisan 501(c)3 non-profit founded by entrepreneur Emily White, Mike Luba, and Pat Sansone of Wilco / The Autumn Defense. In 2018 #iVoted activated over 150 venues in 37 states to let fans into venues on November 6th, 2018 (the United States' national election night), who showed a selfie from outside of their polling place. #iVoted’s mission was and is to increase voter turnout.
