Job Summary

The Project Manager-IT is responsible for the successful delivery of Global Technology projects and programs. This position works closely with all Global Technology groups and AEG partners and customers. It requires strong communication, influencing, and project management skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain key relationships.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage assigned IT projects of varying types and sizes, ensuring objectives and project deliverables are accomplished according to plan, stakeholder requirements, and expectations
  • Develop and manage all project-related plans and documentation, while adhering to PMO processes, guidelines, and tools for Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring + Controlling, and Closing projects and communicating to stakeholders
  • Work closely with project sponsors, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope
  • Utilize appropriate project management methodologies to ensure successful planning and execution
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and per requirements, and ensure any changes are properly documented and escalated for approval
  • Prepare weekly project/program status reports and distribute to stakeholders and leadership, as applicable
  • Negotiate, assess, and manage vendor Statements of Work (SOW) and performance
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly team meetings, preparing agendas, minutes and action items, and ensuring that project activities are kept on track and all tasks progress to completion
  • Manage approved budget and provide financial forecasting
  • Represent project status in required meetings and forums

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) Technology or relevant field
  • 4-6 years experience leading complex IT projects or programs, required
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects and programs is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, data engineering, infrastructure technologies, and business processes
  • Strong knowledge of various project management methodologies and life cycles + knowing when to utilize them; Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, PMI, SDLC
  • 1-2 years Jira experience required
  • Proficient in project management tools; MS Project Pro, and Smartsheet
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (presentations), PowerBI
  • Ability to effectively present ideas and communicate to C-level executives, as needed
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Ability to synthesize and simplify complex concepts and requirements to stakeholders and tie back to business objectives
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and change management skills
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with people of varying roles and seniority
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI PMP Certification required
  • Certified ScrumMaster certification a plus

Pay Scale: $10,000 - $12,000 p/month
