As a StubHub Center Founding Partner, a replica of Universal Studios Hollywood’s iconic globe logo will be featured to the top of the soccer stadium’s new video display board at the south end of the venue. At more than 20 feet high and 53 feet wide, the new video board now complements the existing main video display at the opposite end of the stadium, which is the largest in professional soccer in North America. This exclusive and prominent signage will debut on June 17 at the LA Galaxy’s match versus the Houston Dynamo, and will remain a permanent fixture at the venue for the length of the partnership.
“As a global entertainment destination, we continually seek opportunities to showcase our exciting rides and attractions,” said David Miller, Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing, Universal Studios Hollywood. “This unique partnership with the LA Galaxy and StubHub Center is indicative of our mutual brands’ commitment to providing uncompromised entertainment options for our thrill seeking guests.”
“Bringing together two internationally recognizable brands such as the LA Galaxy and Universal Studios Hollywood is the perfect partnership to promote the excitement, family atmosphere, and entertainment that we create for Galaxy fans at StubHub Center,” said LA Galaxy President Chris Klein. “We are constantly looking for ways to enhance the guest experience, and this partnership will help to raise the bar even higher.”
“Partnering with Universal Studios Hollywood presents a tremendous opportunity for AEG to add value to the fan experience at StubHub Center for Galaxy games and all of our other activities in our venues here,” said Robert Vartan, senior director Global Partnerships at AEG. “It also brings together three storied and equally like-minded Los Angeles entities coming together for the entertainment benefit of all Angelenos. Universal Studios Hollywood’s vision for outstanding service and commitment to customers aligns with ours, making this partnership a natural fit.”
Universal Studios Hollywood, the LA Galaxy and StubHub Center will also plan and execute a variety of promotional content across both social and digital media platforms in addition to a range of in-stadium signage to maximize the impact of the partnership for fans.
